Inclusive AR/VR: accessibility barriers for immersive technologies

Augmented and virtual reality (AR/VR) hold significant potential to transform how we communicate, collaborate, interact with others. However, there has been a lack of work date investigating accessibility barriers in relation immersive technologies for people disabilities. To address current gaps knowledge, led two multidisciplinary sandpits key stakeholders (including academic researchers, AR/VR industry specialists, lived experience disability, assistive technologists, representatives from national charities special needs colleges) collaboratively explore identify existing challenges AR VR experiences.
